Honey Apples

Cook Time:  Only a few Minutes Source: The Joy Of Cooking PG 216


  • 1 cup of hoeny
  • 1/2 cup of cider vinegar
  • 2 apples cored, peeled, and thinly sliced


  1. Heat honey and cider vinegar in a deep sausepan until simmering
  2. carefully drop apples in batches into the simmering mixture
  3. skim out with slotted spoon when translucent (about 2 minutes)

Can be Enjoyed both hot or cold: whichever you like!
